It's amazing to think that Idealistics has been around more than four years. I'm certainly proud of what we have accomplished, building some exciting systems with partners like the City of Pomona and the United Way of Greater Los Angeles, to name a few, that have helped tens of thousands of low-income families find the social services they need. However, we've still got a long ways to go in achieving our social mission of building web-based technologies that help our partners lift people out of poverty.
While Idealistics uses technology to help those in need, we are more than a technology company. At our core, we are a social service company focused on connecting people to social services, and helping social service agencies measure social impact. Technology is the means we use to achieve our social mission, it is not however the end in and of itself.
Our most successful partnerships are with agencies that engage us as more than a technology company. Our expertise is not simply in technology, it is in using technology to help low-income families and individuals. With an eye forward on what we hope to accomplish in the future at Idealisitcs, our future success depends as much, if not more, on working with like minded partners who engage us as a social service company, as it hinges on our technical abilities.
